		<description>I think there is also a dimension of personal geography and belonging. When we were younger or at uni, we are limited usually to one room which we can stamp ourselves on. 

As you said we have little influence on the creative output from learning, so we create where we can through personal outputs or increased social activity.

We then find ourselves in roles where we creatively contribute to strategies and direction. If we are lucky we also find someone who takes on greater social importance and start replacing social interaction with the wider group for that person. Time becomes precious and we subconsciously choose what we invest that time in. 

We have houses or flats, where our creativity is now spread throughout instead of concentrated in one room. Does not mean the creativity ever goes, it is just spread over a wider geography.
